The Ethnographer's secret

2012, 49.5x36x27.5 cm, tripod, painted cardboard (acrylic, pencil), feathers

The object is the result of researching in the Library of swiss artist/collector Andreas Züst,
a text of J.L.Borges "The Ethnographer" and the topic of "Otherness".
It represents a kind of pyramid, a pile of books keeping a secret for itself as well as
an observation's tool that carries a testimony of exotic animals
and a testimony of historical - sacral - cultural constructs at the same time.
