Loose populations holding out in the middle of nowhere.
In an open air space (Kunsthof Zürich) a group of objects (made of umbrellas, parasols and
women’s stockings) make part of an abstract identity – quoting Deleuze and Guattari
«becoming intense, becoming animal, becoming imperceptible» –, an expanded tissue.
The purpose of tools for protection such as umbrellas and parasols as opposed to their rather soft
materiality, which gets exposed in the weather, reveals the paradox of a refugee’s shelter.
